It’s a great pleasure for us to announce that among the 12 documentary films selected for the 32nd European Film Awards there are right away 2 films of majade! HEIMAT IS A SPACE IN TIME and AQUARELA are in the company of remarkable documentaries shortlisted for the Best Documentary Award 2019 by EFA:

The multi-award-winning HEIMAT IS A SPACE IN TIME by Thomas Heise will have its North American premiere in the Wavelengths section of the festival.

THE CAVE by Feras Fayyad (director of the Oscar-nominated “Last Men in Aleppo”), our co-production with Danish Documentary for National Geographic Documentary Films will be the opening film at TIFF Docs and celebrate its world premiere there. Congratulations to the teams!

Heimat is a Space in Time wins the German Documentary Award 2019!

The German Documentary Film Award was presented in Stuttgart as part of the SWR Doku Festival. The main prize, endowed with 20,000 euros, was awarded to our film “Heimat ist ein Raum aus Zeit” by director Thomas Heise.

Anja Kofmel was awarded the Norbert Daldrop Prize for Art and Culture, endowed with 5,000 euros, for “Chris the Swiss”.
